Campground sites are hard to book during COVID times, and there's nothing around on the Fri/Sat nights. Thus we might do a single day jaunt to the coast on the Sunday to blow away the cobwebs. This will depend on sea conditions.
Pretty Beach campground – Murramarang National Park, 1 Pretty Beach Rd, Pretty Beach NSW 2539, Australia
This is being run as the annual New and Rusty Divers weekend. This is a great time for newly signed-on members or those who haven't been in the water for a while or just haven't much experience to come on a trip that eases you back in with some great and gentle dives and a chance to get familiarity with the way the club operates and dives at the coast. There is an excellent shore dive site close by that can give many good dives for reacquainting to being underwater, plus a range of sites around Brush Island that will suit up to an 'intermediate' level that will introduce you to diving out of our inflatable boats. There will be a number of more experienced members coming who will be able to give you pointers on diving and boating technique and why things are run a particular way.
Camping will be at the picturesque Pretty Beach, a NP&WS campsite on the Northern end of Murramarang NP.
